DIY Terra Cotta Vase Painting

Got some old, or ugly vases laying around that need a dire face lift???  This project is for you!

I got these vases from Goodwill for a total of $4!  So look around your house, go to your local thrift shot, or garage sale and snag some diamonds in the rough! Don’t pay attention to the color or patterns, it's all about the shape and texture of the vase! That's what you're going to see after it’s all painted!

Then you’ll need to pick out some paint that you’ll want to paint your vases with. Can be any color, just make sure they are WATER BASED. Acrylic paint works great!

Step 1. Pour about 1 cup of paint into a cup.

Step 2. Add 1 Tablespoon or Baking soda or Baking Powder.

Step 3. MIX!

Step 4. Paint! I found that you’ll probably have to do 2-3 coats of paint so that you don’t see the glass. Also, the more layers, the more it will look like the texture of clay!

Step 5. Let them dry and place them around your place!
