DIY Hanging Wall Shelves

One big Fat word for you! EASY!!!! This is going to be the easiest project you’ve ever done!

First - Here’s what you’ll need.

  • Wood - I scored and found these pieces of wood at a garage sale, a whole box already cut for $1. This wood actually happens to be cedar slats, but you can use any kind you like!

  • Macrame String

  • Wood hoop

  • Drill

Take your drill and drill a hole in each corner.  Make sure you don’t get too close to the edge because it could break through to the ends, then you can’t use the wood..

Then take your macrame string and cut two pieces that are about two feet ling each or longer, depending on how big you want the shelf.  Then loop the two pieces to the wood hoop.

Take the end of each string and put it through the hole.  From there you can tie two knots so that the knot can’t get through the holes. Repeat this for the rest of them and you are done! I know, it’s that easy! Find your favorite trinkets and hang …
