If you want a really simple, quick and EASY DIY, then here you have it! DIY Clay Half Moon Fridge Magnets are so stinking easy and end up looking really clean and cute! You can even make up whatever shape you like for these.  The possibilities are endless!  These can also be some really nice gifts for a house party you're going to, a bridal shower gift, or even a mother's day gift.

So, here’s what you’ll need!

  • Magnets

  • Hot glue gun

  • Oven

  • Parchment paper, or foil

First, cut your clay into pieces and roll them into balls. The balls that I made were as big as a marble.

Then take a piece or foil or parchment paper and flatten the clay balls so that they are a flat circle.  Take a knife and cut the circle in half to create the half moon.  Once you're done with that, you can put them into the oven for about 15 min at 275 F, or until it is hard and doesn’t leave a nail mark.  You can also check the packaging of your clay to see if you need a different temp or time.  Also if you're making your clay thicker, it may take longer.

After they are done cooking, let them cool down. Once they’ve cooled off, then you can hot glue the magnets on the back and stick them to your fridge with your favorite photos and memories!
