Ready to be WOW’d by your creativity! Three simple things can make a pretty cool clay baby mobile, and I’m gonna show you how!

First Here’s what you’ll need!

First - break your clay into smaller pieces and roll them into little balls. You can place them on parchment paper or foil. If you place them on a regular surface it’s going to be hard to get them off later and might ruin your design.

Then SMASH them!

Again, use something that the clay won't stick to. I used a paper towel when I smashed them so that they wouldn’t stick to what I was using to smash them.

Then take a knife and cut the smashed clay into a square.

After that, use a straw to make the hole in one of the corners.

Then Bake in the oven for about 10 min. Check your label on your clay to see how long and what temp you need to bake yours for. Every clay is different.

Now take your string and cut pieces to tie onto your embroidery hoop. They can be as long as you like.

Only tie one knot because you’re going to be adjusting the strings!

Then take your clay and tie them to the other side of the string!

Hang your piece on the wall so that you can see all the lengths of the string. From there, now you can adjust each string to the length you want.

Once you have each string where you want them, do a double knot at the top and then cut off your excess string on the top and on the bottom with the clay.

Find a nice place to hang it, or wrap it up for someone special, and presto, you’re done!
